Services provided statewide across New Mexico
TLS Foundations has the experience, equipment, and provides the services required to perform foundation repair when conditions warrant corrective work. However, we believe it makes little sense to discuss how something should be fixed before clearly understanding what is actually happening and why.
How We Approach Services in New Mexico
All services at TLS Foundations are guided by thoughtful evaluation rather than predetermined outcomes. We focus on understanding local New Mexico soil conditions, site influences, and how structures respond over time before recommending any course of action.
Soil behavior varies widely across the state—from expansive clays and shale common in Santa Fe, the East Mountains and Northern NM to sands and silts common to Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, and Socorro, to variable conditions in, Farmington and the Four Corners region, Southern New Mexico, and Southeast New Mexico.
Foundation Evaluation & Assessment
Our evaluations focus on:
Soil conditions and behavior
Moisture influence and drainage patterns
Foundation type and construction
Crack patterns and movement indicators
Site-specific influences
Settlement & Movement Evaluation
We regularly evaluate conditions in:
Albuquerque and the surrounding metro area
Rio Rancho and Los Lunas
Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico
Farmington and the Four Corners region
Gallup and Western New Mexico
Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico
Roswell, Hobbs, and Clovis
Tijeras, Edgewood, and the East Mountains
Structural Crack Evaluation
Cracks are assessed in context to determine whether they are cosmetic, functional, or warrant further attention.
Foundation Repair (When Appropriate)
When repair is necessary, it is selected based on soil behavior, site conditions, and long-term performance—not standardized systems.
Drainage & Moisture-Related Recommendations
In many cases, soil-related movement is influenced by surface drainage or moisture variation rather than structural deficiency.
Monitoring & Observation
Some conditions benefit from observation rather than immediate action, allowing decisions to be made with better information over time.
